   AMYO seems to be a duo of two girls that were doing their own covers on youtube before being signed to a label. Mando RnB Singer, J.Sheon has a hand in the girls music somewhat but I couldn't find too much information about AMYO online. Reveal is the girl's first mini album out of many more to come, hopefully. Maybe this is what you call mandarin indie music….. interesting.


  Moving along, AMYO start the album with dance number titled Pray for you. They take it way back to the dance disc days with this track. Its a track that uses a lot of repetition to get the point across and sound like it was meant to be sung in English instead of Mandarin Chinese. The repetition is used in a catchy manner while the beat transitions from one rhythm to the other during certain parts. More so during the parts when they sing, "I'mma Keep On Loving You." These lyrics make me happy because they show a kind of defiance toward their guy of interest. They going to keep loving no matter what. Reveal(also the album's title) pretty much is a Pop RnB track that you might have found an American singer singing back in early 2005. The flow of the girls vocals here are precise to the movement of the beat. The chorus has a big enough edge to make you want to hear more too. From there, the album finishes up on club hype energy. Pray For You's english version proved the point of what I just said above but strangely felt like it didn't belong on the album. So we have the instance of the filler song[PLAYS DRAMATIC MUSIC].

  AMYO's two vocalists sound like winter and summer. Summer contains super hot heat that can kill you. Then winter has deadly cold weather that doesn't seem too bad until the conditions slowly kill you. One girl has a deep vocal and she sings many of the lines leading up to the chorus. The other girl's voice is high pitched with strength. She sings the choruses. I like how one girl sounds like she's bad while the other sounds innocent. The thing is, she may sound cute but she's just as bad as the other girl. REAL BAD BITCHES[INSERT ME LAUGHING]!


  I would like to learn more about AMYO. Either through more music releases or an interview. I'm not sure if I'm a fan just yet. Their music is promising though.
