IT TOOK ME FOREVER TO FINALLY GET AROUND TO MAKING A POST ABOUT THIS GUY! OK OK! lets stop using capital letters now…. Deep breaths….DEEP breaths….Anyways, Lugz&Jera is a singer that i ran across suddenly. I don't know too much about him but he has a few releases under his belt including an All Time Best Album. I get an Exile tribe vibe from his music too. Sing for Love is actually is first full length album. You wouldn't be able to tell by how good the album is. I mean that the album has tracks that are so good that each track could be a stand alone single. Not once did I skip a song while listening to Sing For Love. L&J is labeled as an RnB artist but the album covers the music genres of dance pop and RnB. A little more Dance pop than RnB. These tracks will have you moving your body with the beat or singing along during ballads. Even the ballads have strong enough choruses based on vocal technique to not fall into that same boring ballad style that some other Japanese artist perform. L&J needs more success in Japan with him putting out albums like this.
Lugz&Jera sings like a lot of the other Japanese male singers who sing RnB. I like how the songs on the album focused more on creating catchy vocal harmonies. You can hear the passion he has for singing through how he sang the songs on Sing For Love.
Highly recommend Sing For Love to Japanese music fans. There wasn't any filler songs in the album so the replay value is pretty high. Lugz&Jera better keep making good music in the future.
